About the Museum
Connecting the Past Through the Present
The Greek Heritage Project/ Museum was established in 2001 at the Greek Community Centre of Victoria. The museum is dedicated to preserving the rich Greek history of Victoria and around the country through research and education. The museum is currently undertaking an extensive genealogy project documenting the people and history of our community dating back to first Greek to reach Vancouver Island, Juan De Fuca (John “Ioannis” Fokas).

To create a genealogical database of the Greek Community in Victoria.
Sharing History & Culture
Promote the sharing and passing of history and culture to future generations, scholars and schools.

The museums is located on the 2nd floor, Rear Wing, of the Victoria Greek Community Centre building.
Admission is free.
